Like goddamn, coyotes are not gonna do anything to your adult cows. Taking a calf is hard enough for them. Wolves can kill calves like a piece of cake, with coyotes they have to do right place right time. If cattle ranchers would wake their asses up and quit being primitive dumbasses and start acting like that one couple I showed on The Trouble With Wolves, were never gonna get anywhere. The large majority of cattle ranchers are like that old man with the cap. Wanna kill everything and don’t give a shit, as long as oh my precious Holsteins are safe. GatorAidgunb

GatorAid gunb Yeah it's the same in Australia. I say this and I'm talking about countless family members of mine. They can't even comprehend a different mindset other than basically all animals need to be shot and killed on site. Not even just predators, they come up with an excuse to kill every animal that isn't their livestock, and are extremely resistant to any suggestion about any animal possibly being beneficial for them. Their bloodlust rivals that of Asians. You get the impression that even if it was conclusively proven beyond any shadow of doubt that other animals could benefit their farm they'd still be like "ahhh... yeah... sorry I still want to kill the thing" and then they'd shoot or poison it, for no reason, knowing it's for no reason and no benefit and actually detrimental. They just can't help themselves. I don't even care about killing coyotes, or anything really. I just want it to be done by the one farmer guy who is focused on one coyote or wolf and figures out a way to kill it. I'd be like "cool". It's the big concerted effort to eradicate that rubs me the wrong way.

Better set 50 traps, load up my rifle and spend the day hiking in the bush killing dingoes and their babies. Luckily most of them have floppy ears so I can tell the government they are feral dogs, earn a million dollars and I can kill them all.
